Job summary

NorthITE Staffing seeks an experienced Senior PKI / Venafi Engineer to support enterprise certificate lifecycle management and PKI operations. You will have hands-on Venafi Trust Protection Platform (TPP), manage discovery, issuance, renewal, revocation and deployment, and lead application onboarding into enterprise CLM. This 100% remote contract (USA) lasts 6+ months.

USC/GC/H4 EAD for W2; H1B for C2C. Ideal candidates bring TLS/SSL, PKI, and automation experience; experience with Venafi APIs,

Qualifications

• Experience with Venafi TPP and PKI operations.
• Proficient in certificate lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of certificate automation and onboarding.
• Experience with Venafi APIs or vCert utilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer Venafi TPP and PKI infrastructure.
• Manage certificate lifecycle: discovery, issuance, renewal, revocation, deployment.
• Lead application onboarding into enterprise certificate lifecycle management platforms.
• Develop and implement certificate automation solutions.
• Integrate Venafi with enterprise applications, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support PKI infrastructure, CA operations, and certificate governance.
• Troubleshoot certificate-related issues and improve platform reliability.
• Support certificate security, backup, and disaster recovery activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Venafi Trust Protection Platform (TPP), certificate lifecycle management, application onboarding, and certificate automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Venafi Trust Protection Platform (TPP).
• Manage the complete certificate lifecycle, including discovery, issuance, renewal, revocation, and deployment.
• Lead application onboarding into enterprise certificate lifecycle management platforms.
• Develop and implement certificate automation solutions.
• Integrate Venafi with enterprise applications, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support PKI infrastructure, Certificate Authority operations, and certificate governance.

• Support certificate security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
