Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior PKI Engineer in the Chicago area to design, develop, and deploy secure PKI services that support a broad set of certificate use cases across a global organization.

You will work with technologies such as ADCS, NDES, OCSP, Thales HSMs, Venafi, and Intune certificate connectors to deliver secure, compliant certificate management and automation across geographic regions. The role emphasizes collaboration, security, and scalable engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of digital certificate lifecycle management and PKI technologies.
• Experience with cryptographic protocols and security standards.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable PKI solutions.
• Familiarity with multiple PKI vendors and technologies in the market.
• Strong communication across technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and vendors to deploy PKI solutions that meet EY business needs.
• Develop technical and functional PKI solutions integrated with business processes.
• Document installation/configuration guides and operational procedures.
• Prepare thorough test plans and concise result summaries.
