Senior PKI Engineer

Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a PKI engineer to support large-scale government deployments, analyze identity lifecycles, and define enterprise identity records. You will implement SSO and privileged access systems, collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams.

Requirements include DoD 8570 certification, secret clearance, experience with PKI systems (Red Hat Certificate System, Dogtag PKI, EJBCA), Python/Perl scripting, and Java-based security server configuration.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying PKI solutions.
• Experience with Python, Perl, or base scripting languages.
• Experience with Red Hat Certificate System, Dogtag PKI, or EJBCA.
• Experience developing technical documentation.
• Ability to support the end-to-end deployment of secure PKI-based web applications.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in systems or network administration, or 9+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD 8570 Certification.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Java programming experience preferred.
• Experience configuring security Java application servers and web servers preferred.
• AWS experience preferred.
• Cloud migration experience preferred.
• Hybrid solution deployment experience preferred.
• ActivClient experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the DoD PKI preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or IT preferred.
• CISSP, CASP, or CCSP Certification preferred.
