Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Piping Superintendent in Florida to lead field operations and drive projects to on-time completion with high quality and safety. The role emphasizes customer loyalty and collaboration with inspectors and trades to resolve conflicts.

The successful candidate will oversee crews on multi-million-dollar construction projects, ensure compliance with codes, and maintain Power Design’s standards and values while advancing project goals.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Skilled field supervisor with at least 10 years of experience managing crews and multimillion-dollar projects.
• Experience with hydronic piping systems, chillers, boilers, and water source heat pump systems.
• Progressive mechanical/HVAC/plumbing leaders who value technology and a clear career path.
• Active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license.
• Proficient knowledge of the National Building Code, local codes and construction safety.
• Familiar with IMC, IPC, IBC standards and local safety requirements.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Basic computer and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
• Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
• Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to resolve conflicts and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
• Manage material and personnel requirements to meet schedule.
• Adhere to Power Design’s standards of quality, safety and best practices.
