Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior Principal Piping Designer in Reading, PA for a hybrid role with 3 days in the office. The candidate will lead piping design activities in complex facilities, develop 3D models, isometrics, and orthographic drawings, and coordinate across disciplines.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in industrial environments, strong project leadership, and proficiency with AVEVA E3D, Navisworks, and related tools. Hybrid work arrangement applies.

Qualifications

• Lead piping designer with experience in power, chemical, and industrial facilities.
• Mentor project teams across multiple locations.
• Field design including walkdowns and locating tie points.
• Estimate project costs and develop proposals.

Responsibilities

• Provide design leadership and planning across complex piping and mechanical workstreams.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and schedule alignment.
• Oversee delivery of piping models, isometrics, and orthographic extraction.
• Support field walkdowns and ensure compliance with project requirements.
