Qualifications

• 7-15 years of experience in oil and gas pipelines is preferred.
• Ability to communicate process safety messages respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering leadership on process safety.
• Conduct process safety studies and risk assessments.
• Lead PHA/LOPA teams and manage associated actions.
• Develop and deliver training programs.
• Participate in pre-start-up reviews for major equipment.

Skills

Experience in design, implementation and management of safety systems and processes

Expertise in pipeline safety studies including HCA analyses and risk assessments

Good understanding of industry safety needs and trends

Knowledge of PHMSA compliance requirements

Experience with risk management tools and quantitative risk analysis

Experience facilitating Process Hazard Analyses

Ability to communicate safety messages effectively

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Process or Mechanical Engineering
