Job summary

Matrix Service is seeking a Pipe Foreman to lead pipe fitting activities on industrial construction projects. You will interpret blueprints and P&IDs, coordinate welding, layout and installation, and ensure daily safety compliance.

You will supervise crews, schedule workloads, manage costs, maintain QA/QC standards, and represent the company on bid walks. NCCER certification or Craft Skills Test success is required, and you must pass background checks and drug testing as part of our safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with pipefitting processes for industrial construction, maintenance or new construction.
• 3+ years' experience in a supervisory role.
• Craft Skills Test pass at 70% or NCCER certification required.
• Understand Matrix Service policies and procedures.
• Complete Matrix Service Safety training and related client/site training.
• Background check, drug screening and TWIC card required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and P&IDs to determine scope, locations, quantities and materials.
• Manage crew processes, scheduling, costs, and employee relations.
• Identify tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and precautions.
• Plan operations to schedule workloads efficiently and minimize costs.
• Ensure QA/QC requirements on projects are met.
• Attend and represent the company on bid walks and potential projects.
