Job summary

EmployHQ is seeking a Pipefitter Mechanic to support the layout, fabrication, and installation of piping systems and HVAC components per project specs. You will help with pressure testing, welding prep, and equipment setup while upholding safety and company procedures.

You will work with a small crew, reading blueprints, performing takeoffs, and ensuring timely, quality installations. OSHA 10 and welding certification are preferred.]]

Qualifications

• Ability to layout hangers and piping systems and perform pressure testing.
• Ability to read and understand contracts, shop, and schematic drawings.
• Math skills for takeoffs and pipe fitting.
• Ability to use company devices (Phone, iPad, Workstation).
• HVAC equipment orientation and welding prep knowledge.
• Leadership and mentoring of a small crew.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and developing your team/crew.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or project specifications.
• Sets up and operates fabricating machines and tools to complete installations.
• Ensures work aligns with schedule, quality, and safety standards.
• Maintains accurate logs and project documentation.
• Oversees and mentors new employees to grow within the company.
