Union of American Physicians and Dentists (UAPD/AFSCME Local 206) seeks an Experienced Organizer for a UC Physician Campaign. The role is travel-based with sustained deployment to UC medical centers and physician worksites across California, including statewide travel. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on experience.

Strong coordination and leadership skills are required. Full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Proven track record in one-on-one organizing with demonstrated results.
• Experience using maps, lists, or databases for organizing campaigns.
• Ability to develop physician leaders and organizing committees.

Responsabilidades

• Own an assigned physician universe: build relationships across departments, specialties, clinics, and hospitals.
• Conduct high-volume one-on-one organizing conversations and document assessments the same day.
• Identify workplace issues and develop physician leaders.
• Recruit and develop physician organizing committees.
• Create and maintain workplace maps; use data to set priorities and plan moves.
• Prepare physician leaders for organizing conversations and campaign ownership.
• Meet weekly goals and participate in debriefs; help develop Organizer Associates.
