Job summary

US Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care across Gulf Coast VA clinics, including Biloxi, Mobile, Pensacola, Eglin and Panama City. The role requires capable clinical decision-making and independent treatment planning for inpatients and outpatients.

Applicants must meet licensure requirements and maintain CAPTE accreditation standards. Prior supervisory experience with PTAs or students is preferred for the full-performance GS-12 level.

Qualifications

• Education must meet CAPTE accreditation standards.
• Licensure as a physical therapist in the United States.
• Foreign graduates must have U.S. licensure or be licensed in a state.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment interventions for inpatients and outpatients.
• Independently provide care in multiple clinics within VA system.
• Supervise students and PT assistants as applicable.
