Jefferson Health is seeking a Senior Physical Therapist at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. The role involves evaluating, treating, and discharging patients while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to advance physical, cognitive, linguistic, and swallowing functions.

The position supports the mission, vision, and values of Jefferson Health. Responsibilities include therapy evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, and participation in staff education.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active PA Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.

Mansioni

• Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, treatment interventions and discharge planning for a full caseload in acute, skilled facility, rehab and outpatient settings.
• Apply literature to clinical practice; participate in education and staff mentoring as appropriate.
• Document patient progress, daily treatments, evaluations and discharge summaries.
• Participate in program development or performance improvement activities with supervisor/manager.
• Assist with staff orientation, mentorship and competency assessment of new/rotating staff.
• Collaborate with co-workers and other staff to coordinate treatment plans.
