Cambia Health Solutions is searching for a Senior Physical Security Specialist to oversee corporate physical security systems and manage the Security Operations Center. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in physical security operations, along with certifications preferred.

This full-time position is based in either Portland, OR, or Renton, WA, with an expected salary range of $76,500 – $103,500. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring a secure environment across Cambia's facilities.

About the Workforce

As a member of the team, the Senior Physical Security Specialist provides a secure physical environment for people and facilities across the enterprise by designing, installing, upgrading, and maintaining new and existing physical security systems including badge access, security cameras, and other hardware and software applications.

Collaborates with other internal divisions (Data and Technology Solutions, Information Security, Human Resources) and vendors regarding matters of physical security. Manages system reporting and provides data to internal stakeholders. Keeps current on the latest cutting‑edge technologies and techniques used in the Physical Security and IT fields and makes recommendations for enterprise‑wide system improvements—all in service of creating a person‑focused health care experience.

What You Bring to Cambia

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience including physical security operations leadership with oversight of Security Operations Center staff.
• Systems operation experience of different types of Security Access Control, Cameras and Alarm systems software, hardware and networks. Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
• Prior military or law enforcement experience preferred.
• PSP (ASIS Physical Security Professional) or CPP (ASIS Certified Protection Professional) certification preferred.
• Must complete First Aid, CPR and AED certification within three months of start.
• On‑call 24/7 to respond to emergencies.
• Travel to locations in 5 states needed.

• Expert technical skills and knowledge in Physical Security applications and Microsoft Office programs.
• Understand appropriate environments for physical security applications, adapt to rapidly changing technologies and methodologies, and recommend and implement new proactive security strategies enterprise‑wide.
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve system performance problems or outages.
• Plan, document, upgrade hardware operating systems and physical security systems, software and third‑party software.
• Manage projects, recognize risks and navigate challenges with a high degree of accuracy.

• Lead and manage an efficient Security Operations Center.
• Collaborate across teams and integrate activities with business units and IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support for project efforts.

• Work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking, fluid environment with ever‑changing priorities.

What You Will Do at Cambia

• Manage enterprise‑wide corporate physical security systems including installation, maintenance, mapping and patching for all NVRs, cameras, access panels, multiple applications, servers, databases, network, firewalls and scripting to integrate with other systems.
• Ensure performance and stability for all physical security systems across all Cambia locations in 5 states.
• Provide oversight of our Security Operations Center, including management of vendor security dispatch officers, updating SOC post procedures as needed, coordinating SOC functions during emergencies and interacting with emergency responders as needed.
• Ensure physical security systems are documented and comply with local, state, federal requirements.
• Research and solve simple to complex software issues, collaborating with vendors and other support teams to resolve product or infrastructure problems.
• Provide technical directions to many project teams to ensure secure Cambia facilities and Physical Security systems are responsive, align with industry best practices and are cost‑effective.
• Ensure rapid and efficient issue resolution for all physical security system issues.
• Provide input for the written Physical Security Program reviews and revisions, e.g., Policy, Post Orders and Playbook, business plans, RFPs and budgets.
• Perform incident response and follow‑up analysis for both physical security and security systems failure root cause.
• Share technical expertise to increase team performance, gain higher compliance with industry technical standards, and to make systems more efficient and sustainable.

Work Environment

Typical office environment. Expected hiring range is $76,500.00 – $103,500.00 in Washington and Oregon, full range $72,000.00 – $117,000.00 and bonus target 10%.
