Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice or Business Administration.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial security experience in a corporate environment.
• 8 years regulatory project management experience in security compliance.
• CPP certification preferred.
• Must qualify for and obtain a Federal Government security clearance.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• 24-hour on-call status.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate physical security regulatory programs, policies, and procedures based on mandates from Federal, State and local government. Coordinate regulatory filings and data requests for multiple jurisdictions.
• Identify impacts of regulatory initiatives on company facilities from state to national level; conduct internal assessments, training, spot checks to ensure compliance; address gaps as needed.
• Interact with regulators, stakeholders and internal customers to advance the company’s regulatory policies and strategies.
• Advocate the company’s positions with regulators and stakeholders in regulatory proceedings, rulemaking, hearings, and industry groups; oversee rulemaking activities and provide testimony as required.
• Perform field inventory of Physical Security technology to meet regulatory and contract requirements; assist in investigations as needed.
• Serve as liaison with internal regulatory departments; manage audits and maintain physical security documentation and project tracking.
