Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Photogrammetrist with expert knowledge in mapping, geolocation accuracy, and verification accuracy. You will utilize stereophotogrammetry software, DEMs, and topographical base maps to generate precise measurements and mappings.

Responsibilities include managing photogrammetry workflows, providing metrics and presentations to government leads, and guiding junior staff. A strong background in ArcGIS, Remote View, and related tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in photogrammetry, image science, or related STEM field.
• 5–10 years working with imagery and imagery platforms.
• Experience with exploitation software such as ArcGIS, Active Earthscape, Mensuration Services Program, and Remote View.
• Ability to develop and use complex concepts and processes.
• Geolocation and mensuration assessment experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to management on a weekly basis.
• Manage photogrammetry processes and procedures for the team.
• Establish team structure and cadence.
• Provide metrics, reports, and presentations to government lead and PM.
• Improve efficiency with team processes.
• Contribute to team discussions and recommend improvements.
• Support junior staff.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop technical solutions.
• Provide photogrammetrist services and engineering support.
• Assess product geolocation accuracy using verified geolocation of known features.
• Verify mensuration accuracy by measuring known objects.
