Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two (2) years of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) preferred.
• One (1) year of phlebotomy lead experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consistently draws blood competently and expediently with minimal patient discomfort from neonates to geriatrics.
• Properly labels all specimens in the presence of the patient.
• Operate basic laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, computer systems, labeling printers, scanners, etc.).
• Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and staff.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, report distribution, processing, and faxing.
• Assist with supervision and scheduling of phlebotomy staff and coverage.
