Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist pharmacists, prepare medications, and ensure accurate patient records while maintaining high standards of customer service.

The role requires a valid PTCB or ExCPT certification, one year of experience, English fluency, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Training and career development opportunities are provided.

Competenze

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Mansioni

• Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision; enter patient and drug information and ensure accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions, retrieve/count/pour medications, verify correctness and interactions.
• Support workflow, scheduling, and report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Lead inventory processes; manage shortages, overages, and damaged goods related to Rx.
• Assist in clinical services coordination and Walgreens healthcare clinics as required.
• Support pickup program and maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy area.
• Coach pharmacy technicians and cashiers to drive process efficiency and policy compliance.
