Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists and support daily pharmacy operations in our Hickory, NC store. You will process prescriptions, enter patient data, and help manage inventory while delivering strong customer service.

Under supervision, you will handle cash, support clinical services, and maintain compliance with pharmacy codes of conduct. Eligible candidates should hold PTCB/ExCPT certification and be willing to obtain immunization credentials.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• English fluency in reading/writing/speaking required.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing medications and verifying accuracy.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Support inventory management including ordering and receiving shipments.
• Handle cash transactions and assist customers at checkout.
• Coordinate with medical staff and healthcare providers for clinical services.
