Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceuticals and verifying medicine.
• Lead Pharmacy Department inventory management activities (ordering, unpacking, storing).
• Assist in coordinating clinical services and supporting Walgreens healthcare clinics as needed.
