Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health and specialty pharmacy functions in Seattle, primarily dispensing prescriptions and handling clerical tasks under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm PST with a lunch break. Requires active WA license and 2+ years of experience; compensation ranges $18.00–$32.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Washington state.
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and facilitates verification under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies; processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Maintains inventory records and verifies stock.
• Supports pharmacist in pharmacy operations and ensures compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.

We seek aSenior Pharmacy Technicianto support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm PST with lunch from 1:00pm to 1:30pm PST

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
