Job summary

The Cigna Group, through Evernorth Health Services, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Prior Authorization Senior Representative in Arizona. You will join a focused team handling high-touch programs, researching benefits, obtaining prior authorizations, and processing prescriptions with accuracy.

You’ll interact with patients, providers, and internal teams, leveraging EMR and CoverMyMeds to support approvals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification required.
• Valid Arizona State license/registration required.
• Proficient data entry and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with prior authorization tools (e.g., CoverMyMeds) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research benefits and obtain prior authorizations.
• Enter prescriptions into the system and adjudicate claims.
• Communicate with internal sales, patients and providers.
• Utilize EMR to gather information for prior authorizations.
• Support review and appeal processes as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in processing.
