Job summary

MercerRx is seeking a lead strategic pharmacy advisor to partner with selected mid-market and national accounts. You will own overall service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design review, contract renewal, business placement, and benchmarking to drive value.

You will identify provider performance gaps, negotiate PBM contracts, upsell Mercer pharmacy solutions, lead regional and national market development, and mentor teams while managing day-to-day client accounts and projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree is required.
• 8+ years of consulting or relevant experience in pharmacy managed care.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, communication and listening skills.
• Solid client-facing experience and able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead strategic pharmacy advisor for select mid-market and national accounts.
• Manage overall service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design review, contract renewal, business placement and benchmarking.

• Delegate to provide developmental opportunities to team members.

• Manage key MercerRx client accounts and projects day to day.
• Assist with new solution development based on marketplace developments.
• Manage internal resources to create client deliverables, including pricing, clinical, and Health & Benefits resources.
• Handle quick deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Interact with clients, Mercer consultants, and other resources.

Requirements
