Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ seeks a Product Manager – PV Reporting and Surveillance to lead pharmacovigilance strategies and PV systems across global regulatory frameworks.

You will manage PV backlog, roadmap and collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and safety teams to ensure data quality and compliant processes. Hybrid work model with a focus on cross-business collaboration and IT integration.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in Enterprise, Business, Information, Systems & Application or Solution Architecture.
• 5+ years prior experience in a health authority regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to partner and communicate with executives, business leaders, IT peers and global colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pharmacovigilance strategies meeting regulatory requirements.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog of changes with understood value.
• Define and manage PV strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee PV systems, including software used for adverse event reporting and signal detection.
• Ensure PV processes and systems comply with global regulations (ICH, etc.).
• Maintain high data quality, integrity and regulatory compliance across PV activities.
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory and safety teams to integrate PV into product development.
• Partner with technology teams to implement PVQC systems and ensure timelines are met.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management across matrixed IT and business units.
