Encompass Health is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe medication use, and contribute to policy development within a rehabilitation setting. You will participate in an interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes and adherence to Joint Commission standards.

The role emphasizes independent judgement and clinical service development, offering opportunities to shape medication management in rehabilitative care close to home.

Formación

• State pharmacy board licensure in good standing for the state where the hospital is located.
• Completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent (PharmD or other).
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contributing to development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures compliant with Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.
• Active participation in interdisciplinary team to leverage information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medications in compliance with legal and professional standards.
