Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, through the Oklahoma Forensic Center in Vinita, OK, seeks a Pharmacist III to file prescriptions, dispense drugs and compound pharmaceutical preparations in a secure inpatient setting.

Primary hours are 8:00am-4:30pm; 24/7 coverage may be required with weekends/overtime as needed. Must hold Oklahoma pharmacist license and meet minimum experience requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires valid license to practice pharmacy in the State of Oklahoma.
• Three years of experience as a pharmacist, or a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with license.

Responsibilities

• File prescriptions, dispense drugs and compound pharmaceuticals.
• Provide immediate supervision of pharmacy staff in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy.
