The Senior Patient Financial Services Representatives are integral to the revenue cycle, focusing on reducing accounts receivable and enhancing patient experience post-care. They work with insurance companies to secure payments for hospital bills, researching and holding payers accountable within contractual and timely frameworks. This role offers a sense of accomplishment in resolving insurance issues and opportunities for growth in collections and accounts receivable expertise.

Monday - Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM AZ Time
This position is remote and available only to residents of the following states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NY, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV.
This role involves coordinating patient billing and collections, managing accounts through the billing process, and working with payors to ensure reimbursement. Leadership and training of the patient financial services team are key responsibilities, along with serving as a resource for complex cases and departmental needs.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in patient financial services, insurance, or related fields. Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and strong communication skills are required. Proficiency in office software is necessary.
Experience with Banner systems, prior collections experience, or a background in finance or related fields is preferred.
