Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Petroleum Service Technician in Columbus, OH. The role involves on-site service, troubleshooting of fueling systems, POS terminals, hydraulics, and wiring, with required field training and a professional customer-facing approach.

You will operate a service van, manage inventory for calls, and work in an on-call rotating schedule to support customers across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

IT/tech background and mechanical aptitude required.
Strong communication in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to lift 75–100 lbs when necessary.
Clean driving record (no more than 1 violation).
Experience with field service and troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Fill out service-call paperwork on site; coordinate with vendors for warranty and close-out numbers.
Take daily directions from Service Manager or Dispatcher for calls.
Follow SP& T service-call procedures and be on-call in rotating schedule.
Troubleshoot and repair petroleum product leaks and fleet fueling systems.
Repair mechanical flow meters, electronic tank monitors, and POS terminals.
Interpret wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical wiring issues.
Coordinate with warehouse for inventory and replenish trucks.
Maintain vehicle and inventory to ensure timely service calls.
