Animal Clinic East in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking an experienced full-time groomer to join our veterinary hospital team. You will groom both dogs and cats, perform bathing, trimming, nail care, teeth brushing, and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years professional grooming/styling experience.
• Proficient in scissoring and clipper work, with excellent animal handling skills.
• Tools: comfortable using tubs, brushes, scissors, clippers, and dryers.
• Preferred: Formal grooming training or certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet pets and their parents warmly and build strong relationships.
• Provide grooming services including bathing, drying, ear cleaning, brushing, de-matting, breed-standard cuts, teeth brushing, and nail trims.
• Confidently groom dogs and cats with care, following breed standards and client instructions.
• Stay up to date with grooming trends and techniques for various breeds.
• Maintain a clean grooming environment and sanitize tools.
• Keep detailed grooming records for each pet.
• Assist in community outreach to attract new clients.
