The ideal candidate will have a California Bar license, 8+ years in plaintiff PI with a pre-litigation focus, and a proven ability to negotiate substantial settlements while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 8+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience with emphasis on pre-litigation.
• Proven track record of negotiating substantial, high-value settlements.

Responsibilities

• Direct high-value PI cases from intake through strategic settlement.
• Lead settlement negotiations with insurance adjusters and defense counsel; participate in mediations.
• Analyze liabilities, coverage, medical progression, and damages to move cases forward.
• Provide guidance, review work products, and mentor junior attorneys and staff.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to refine SOPs and improve department workflow.
