Job summary

CCI Systems, Inc. seeks a Permitting Project Manager to oversee all activity related to projects, including supervision of staff, staffing, customer needs, workflow, SLA adherence, and financial performance.

This customer-facing role requires clear verbal and written communications, professional interactions, and the ability to coordinate with municipalities, vendors, and internal teams to meet timelines. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in permitting design or government affairs in utilities.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between cities and jurisdictions, building long-term relationships.
• Guide teams and prepare documentation for permits, rights of way, and land use.
• Create reports and track progress to meet municipal approval conditions and delivery deadlines.
• Obtain necessary permitting/ zoning approvals from federal, state, and local agencies and inform internal groups of requirements.
• Oversee preparation and submission of permit packages complying with standards and regulations.
• Monitor staffing needs and maintain staffing projections.
• Ensure Scope of Work is in place for all projects.
• Create revenue, gross profit, accounts receivable and staffing forecasts.
