Job summary

U.S. Soccer seeks a Senior Performance Therapist to lead performance therapy and RTP initiatives for Youth and Extended National Teams. You will design evidence-based RTP frameworks, integrate performance medicine with science, and drive athlete care at the National Training Center.

You will mentor staff, collaborate across IPS disciplines, and contribute to scalable systems for long-term athlete development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with active Georgia licensure.
• Elite sport experience (pro, Olympic, academy or national teams).
• Expertise in rehabilitation and RTP for soccer.
• Experience integrating performance science into clinical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive performance therapy across Youth and Extended National Team camps and competitions.
• Lead RTP design, implementation, and refinement of frameworks.
• Collaborate with IPS staff to optimize athlete readiness and development.
• Mentor staff and contribute to interdisciplinary decision-making.
• Support longitudinal athlete health data analysis and reporting.
