Job summary

GoTo is seeking a Senior Performance Marketing Manager (Remote, US) to own the strategy across paid search, paid social, and programmatic. You will partner with agencies and teams, build funnel visibility, run experiments, and drive revenue growth with data-driven decisions.

You will lead testing roadmaps, manage multi-channel budgets, and transform complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership. Strong analytics and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in paid media or performance marketing.
• Strong analytical foundation with data-driven mindset (GA4, SQL, BI, dashboards).
• Experience designing and analyzing experiments, attribution, and incrementality.
• Proven track record of owning multi-channel budgets against revenue/pipeline targets.
• Experience working with agency partners and holding them accountable to performance standards.
• Excellent communication and executive presence with ability to tell a clear data story.
• Experience in B2B SaaS or subscription businesses is preferred.

Your Day to Day

As our Senior Performance Marketing Manager you would be working on

Paid go-to-market strategy

• Owning the end-to-end paid go-to-market strategy across paid search, paid social, and programmatic, and keeping it aligned with broader marketing and business objectives.

• Managing and allocating the paid media budget across channels, and optimizing for efficiency and performance against revenue and pipeline targets.

• Directing agency partners and internal stakeholders across, setting clear priorities, testing roadmaps, and performance standards so each channel is accountable to clear goals.

• Evaluating new channels, platforms, and tactics, including how AI-powered discovery is changing paid media, and deciding where to invest next.

• Developing testing roadmap from creative, audiences, channels, platforms, etc. based on data-driven insights and industry wide best practices.

Analytics, measurement, and insights

• End-to-end funnel visibility: building and maintaining a clear, trusted view of the full funnel from impression to click to conversion, and identifying where performance breaks down.

• Performance reporting: owning channel reporting and dashboards, working alongside agencies and data partners to ensure the numbers are accurate, consistent, and decision-ready.

• Experiment design and analysis: designing structured tests across channels, creative, audiences, and bidding strategies, defining success metrics up front, and analyzing results with statistical rigor.

• Attribution and incrementality: evaluating how each channel contributes to revenue, running incrementality and lift testing, and challenging platform-reported results with independent analysis.

• Insights and recommendations: translating complex data into clear business narratives, with specific recommendations on budget, channel mix, and next steps for marketing leadership and cross-functional partners.

What We're Looking For

As our Senior Performance Marketing Manager your background will look like

• 7+ years of experience in paid media or performance marketing, with hands‑on expertise in at least two of the following: paid search, paid social, or programmatic.

• A strong analytical foundation: you're deeply rooted in data and comfortable going from raw data to insight on your own, using tools such as GA4, SQL, BI and dashboarding tools, and Excel.

• Demonstrated experience designing and analyzing experiments, and applying attribution and incrementality methods (such as holdout tests, geo‑lift, or marketing mix modeling) to inform budget decisions.

• A proven track record of owning and allocating multi‑channel budgets against revenue or pipeline targets.

• Experience working with agency partners and holding them accountable to clear performance standards.

• Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to turn complex data into a clear story and present performance, trade‑offs, and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Experience in B2B SaaS or subscription businesses is preferred.

Annual Base Salary Range: $86,000.00 - $0.00

The above shows our ranges from minimum to maximum and is displayed in the full‑time equivalent amount. Your compensation will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for a variable pay component and benefits.
