Job summary

Realign Llc is seeking senior QA Engineers focused on performance and load testing in a New York onsite setting. The role requires hands-on testing to validate scalability, reliability and system behavior under heavy load.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise with k6 (preferred) and experience with Locust, Gatling or similar frameworks, plus strong observability tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog and OpenTelemetry.

Qualifications

• Hands-on performance and load testing experience is required.
• Senior specialist level; not a generalist QA engineer.
• Experience with modern observability stacks is necessary.
• Experience with cloud-native, microservices-based and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to validate scalability, resiliency, throughput and latency under heavy load.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute performance, load, stress and endurance tests.
• Model realistic workloads and traffic reflecting production usage.
• Identify bottlenecks across application, messaging, database and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure and Product teams to validate remediations.
• Produce detailed performance reports and recommendations to improve system reliability.
