Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to characterize workloads, establish baselines, diagnose bottlenecks, and drive optimizations across DGX Cloud AI efficiency initiatives. You will shape scalable DGX Cloud systems, turn measurements into engineering decisions, and rise performance and reliability of AI workloads.

Qualifications

BS or higher degree in computer science or computer engineering (or equivalent experience).
12+ years of experience with strong programming in C++ and Python and automation workflows.
Solid foundation in OS, computer architecture, and distributed systems.
Experience with performance engineering, benchmarking, profiling, and optimization of complex software or systems.
Ability to communicate findings and align across teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze end-to-end performance of large-scale AI workloads across compute, network, storage, and software stacks.
Design and execute performance studies to establish baselines and diagnose bottlenecks.
Define evaluation methodologies, benchmarks, and success metrics for AI workloads.
Use profiling and data analysis to translate measurements into optimization plans.
Partner with DL engineers, platform teams, and GPU architects to deliver improvements.
Communicate findings and tradeoffs clearly to influence design decisions.
