Job summary

Zipline is hiring Senior and Staff perception engineers to advance the autonomy stack for drone delivery. You will own the design and deployment of cloud/on-prem perception models, and help scale semantic segmentation and 3D geometry tasks using aerial data and real deliveries.

You will contribute to architecture, roadmap, and experimentation while shipping features every six weeks in a high-stakes robotics setting. Equity, benefits, and a dynamic team await.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and deploying deep learning perception systems.
• Strong background in 3D geometry and semantic understanding.
• Experience with production ML models and ML tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own design and implement cloud or on-prem perception models.
• Train and deploy large-scale semantic segmentation and geometry models.
• Build tools to predict deliverability and aid onboarding.
• Develop evaluation infrastructure for field reliability.
• Ship new features every 6 weeks to production.
• Senior/Staff level: drive architectural decisions and roadmapping.
