Job summary

Tensor is an agentic AI company building autonomous vehicles and agentic products. The San Jose team develops perception algorithms and deploys them on autonomous cars, aiming to create safe and intuitive experiences for private ownership at scale.

We value deep expertise in computer vision and machine learning, strong coding skills in C++ and Python, and experience with CUDA, PyTorch, ONNX, and TensorRT. Competitive compensation and equity incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision and machine learning projects.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Experience deploying ML models in automotive/robotics contexts.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and develop computer vision algorithms and ML models for the perception system.
• Work on deployment of these algorithms and models on autonomous vehicles.
• Evaluate and understand the challenges that need to be tackled to have a safe and comfortable experience in our vehicles.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with hands‑on experience in computer vision and machine learning projects
• Strong C++ and/or Python programming skills required.
• ML Framework Options: CUDA C/ PyTorch/ONNX/TensorRT

Preferences

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in deep learning.
• Industry research or production experience.
• Publications at top‑tier conferences, e.g. CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, ICML, ICRA, RSS, NeurIPS, AAAI, IJCV, and PAMI.
