Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of PeopleSoft development experience with Integration Broker.
• Experience designing REST and SOAP services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine expertise.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with web service security standards (WS‑Security, OAuth2).
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of the PeopleSoft data model.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi) is a strong plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
• Develop transformations using XSLT, Application Engine, and PeopleCode handlers, with durable, well-documented implementations.
• Configure security on inbound and outbound services, including WS‑Security, OAuth2, and certificate‑based authentication.
• Build robust error-handling and retry mechanisms, including notifications and monitoring.
• Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts to support hybrid integrations.
• Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point-to-point integrations to standardized patterns.
• Optimize performance of high-volume integrations via queue tuning and asynchronous design.
• Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud apps and middleware (Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow; OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation for architecture, decisions, and runbooks.
• Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and integration architects to meet requirements and standards.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
