Job summary

Enterprise Technical Assistance Services, Inc. (ETAS) seeks a seasoned Cyber Security Tester to join the Cyber Security Assessment Team in Paducah, KY.

You will perform technical testing across systems, identify vulnerabilities, and emulate adversarial scenarios to guide mitigation strategies in line with federal standards. The role requires prior testing experience, a Bachelor’s degree, strong reporting skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and leadership

Qualifications

• Prior penetration testing experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related subject matter area and minimum three years of operational penetration testing experience.
• Ability to participate in or lead assessments with minimal oversight.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with formal, well-formatted reports.
• Proficiency in common cyber security tools listed above.
• Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• High degree of professionalism in deliverables and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical testing of information systems to support assessment activities.
• Perform risk assessment, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and web security testing.
• Advise operational and leadership teams on mitigation strategies aligned with federal standards.
