A leading academic health center in Houston is inviting applications for a full-time Pediatric Acute Care Cardiologist. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, supervise trainees, and engage in research and teaching. This role includes working in a multidisciplinary team in an internationally recognized children's heart institute. A Texas Medical License is required, and Board Certification in Pediatrics is preferred.
Qualifications
Texas Medical License or eligibility for a Texas Faculty Temporary License.
Board Certified in Pediatrics and Board Certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.
Develop and sustain an environment supporting excellence in patient care.
Participate in departmental quality improvement planning.
Identify and recommend new programs to meet patient needs.
