Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a Finance Associate (Senior Fund Accountant) for a private equity-backed operation in Stamford, CT. This role supports the CFO/Controller, drives process improvements, and participates in broader finance initiatives within a small, collaborative team.

The position offers a base salary from $115,000 to $175,000 with bonus potential to be determined at offer, and requires 3–8 years of PE fund accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of PE fund accounting experience
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
• CPA is a plus or equivalent designation

Responsibilities

• Oversee the fund administrator's month-end and quarterly work, including cash reconciliations, trial balances, allocations, accruals, management fees, and capital activity
• Own the year-end financial statements and fund audit
• Manage capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations
• Subscription credit facility compliance, entity reporting, and regulatory filings such as Form ADV and Form PF
