Job summary

The role blends Java/J2EE with PDF engineering, XML/DTD standards, and graphics processing to ensure platform integrity and robust vendor integrations. You will lead complex PDF modification, security, and compliance work, working with architecture teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST, and cloud technologies.
• Proven expertise in PDF engineering and content delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead PDF engineering, standards, compliance, and document quality across platforms.
• Manage complex PDF modification, security, fonts/graphics, accessibility, and PDF/A/X work.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and stakeholders on multi-team initiatives.
• Guide junior team members and present design solutions as a subject matter expert.
• Design scalable PDF workflows and automate processes with minimal direction.
• Diagnose and resolve complex PDF issues; extend tooling and auto-repair capabilities.
• Onboard and integrate complex third-party publishers with minimal oversight.
• Participate in reviews, governance, and documentation with secure-by-design practices.
