Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced PCB Layout Designer for an on-site role in Boise, Idaho.

You will lead detailed physical layouts of complex high-speed PCBs and perform essential pre-engineering work before layout begins, including stackup planning and constraint development. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure signal integrity, power delivery, manufacturability, and reliability, using Cadence Allegro as the primary design tool.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in PCB layout design from concept through release.
• Strong command of PCB manufacturing processes and DFx principles.
• Deep understanding of high-speed PCB design and PDN routing.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB design from requirements and pre-layout through release and fabrication support.
• Perform stackup definition, floor-planning, and constraint development.
• Create detailed high-speed layouts prioritizing signal and power integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and quality.
• Prepare fabrication and assembly deliverables and support the build process.
