Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior PCB Designer II to join our aerospace electronics team in Florida. You will perform complex mixed-signal PCB layout, manage libraries, and generate releases for high-density boards including 30 GHz RF sections.

You will collaborate with hardware and mechanical engineers, maintain schematics, templates, and BOMs, and help shape next-generation space hardware while working in a startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 7 years of PCB design experience.
• Strong proficiency with Altium Designer.
• Solid understanding of PCB layout principles.
• Experience with high-reliability aerospace/IPC Class 3 designs.
• Experience with blind vias and microvias.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mixed-signal PCB layout in Altium Designer.
• Own intricate PCB layouts including 30 GHz RF, power and digital sections.
• Generate and revise drawings and release packages for PCBs and assemblies.
• Manage and maintain electronic component libraries in Altium Enterprise.
• Generate and review schematic symbols and footprints.
• Maintain templates for schematics, layouts, BOMs, and related documents.
