Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for US payroll to ensure accurate processing and regulatory compliance across the US. You will manage regular and off-cycle payroll, collect inputs, and ensure timely payments to employees.

Collaborate with stakeholders, support Canada payroll as needed, maintain documentation, and help optimize payroll systems. A university degree and 2+ years of payroll experience are expected, with strong Excel and US tax knowledge.

Qualifications

  • University degree in finance, accounting, management, or equivalent payroll training/coursework.
  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
  • Understanding of US payroll tax laws and regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles related to payroll.
  • Auditing payroll records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

## Senior Payroll Specialist, US PayrollApply: Off Campus: Remote, USA: Full time: Posted Today: REQ24230**About This Role**As a Senior Payroll Specialist within our Global Business Services team, you will play a crucial role in processing payroll for the US, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will involve executing payroll processes in a timely manner, troubleshooting systems as needed, and collaborating efficiently with customers and stakeholders. This position is integral to maintaining smooth payroll operations, thereby supporting the company’s overall business objectives. In addition, you will contribute to the enhancement and optimization of payroll systems, continuously improving process documentation.
