Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to own the payroll function end to end across multiple states and six locations. The role includes building process discipline, controls, and HRIS integration to support rapid headcount growth.

You will lead end-to-end payroll for 1000+ employees, serve as the primary payroll contact, and ensure compliant processing, with a focus on audits, reconciliations, and accurate W-2s in a multi-site manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-state ownership
• Hands-on experience running multi-state payroll in a payroll system
• Experience building or rebuilding payroll processes
• Working knowledge of multi-state wage/hour law, payroll tax, garnishments

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for 1000+ employees across multiple states and 6 locations
• Serve as primary payroll contact for employees, managers, and Finance
• Own payroll compliance filings and year-end processing
• Partner with Finance on payroll funding, GL mapping, and month-end close
• Reconcile benefit deductions and resolve variances with carriers
• Manage relationship with Insperity / Paylocity
• Review inputs fed to each payroll run in a segregated-duties workflow
• Document current payroll process and build a repeatable payroll calendar
