Job summary

CFS in Chicago offers a Senior Payroll Analyst role within a high-volume, multi-state payroll environment. You will handle full-cycle payroll for hourly, salaried, and union employees while collaborating with HR, Finance, Labor Relations and Compliance to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.

The position requires 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience and proficiency with SAP HCM/ECP, ADP, UKG or Paylocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience processing large hourly populations, ideally 500+ employees.
• Proficiency with SAP HCM/ECP, ADP, UKG, Paylocity, or similar enterprise payroll systems.
• Payroll compliance expertise including taxation, garnishments, wage orders, and union payroll.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for hourly, salaried, and union employees across multiple states.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, garnishments, and wage orders.
• Reconcile payroll results, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payroll issues.
• Support SAP HCM/ECP administration, vendor coordination, and payroll system enhancements.
• Assist with payroll integrations and implementations related to M&A activity.
• Partner with HR, Labor Relations, and Finance on union payroll, pay rules, liabilities, and reporting.

• Work with SAP HCM/ECP while contributing to system enhancements and process automation initiatives
• Play a key role in payroll integrations tied to acquisitions and organizational growth
• Partner directly with HR, Finance, Labor Relations, Compliance, and executive leadership
• Opportunity to take greater ownership of payroll tax and compliance functions as capabilities are brought in-house
• Lead process improvement projects that create measurable operational impact
