Job summary

Arrow Construction is seeking an Experienced Paving Superintendent for our Sacramento office. The company specializes in wet and dry utilities, potholing, patch paving, and concrete restoration work across Northern California.

Typical duties include leading pre-work meetings, evaluating plans and resources, coordinating with safety, maintaining daily logs, and ensuring on-time delivery of all project deliverables. Requires 10+ years in concrete/asphalt with a valid CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 10+ years field experience in concrete and/or asphalt.
• English mandatory; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in pre-work meetings with PM, foreman, and subcontractors to align on policies, quality standards, schedules and safety practices.
• Evaluate plans, specs, schedules, and resources; communicate daily with PM throughout project cycle.
• Coordinate with safety department to ensure training and adherence to safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and complete daily logs and as-builts.
• Ensure proper daily planning to meet project schedule and resource needs.
• Develop and report daily production goals and mentor others.
