Job summary

Batist? Baptist MBMC Central MS seeks a Technician-Patient Care to perform basic patient care under supervision in Senior Care. You will assist with vital signs, phlebotomy and routine tasks, ensuring patient comfort and safety while supporting RN guidance.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of recent experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and are prepared to obtain BLS within 14 days of hire. This is a full-time on-site role in Jackson, MS.

Qualifications

• 1 year recent experience in patient care or related field.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or to be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with the professional RN.
• Perform patient care tasks under RN direction including vital signs, glucose testing, phlebotomy, electrode placement.
• Maintain patient rooms and provide comfort and safety measures.
• Assist with discharge processes and patient/family orientation.
• Support patient mobility and safety rounds and transports as needed.
