Memorial Baptist Church in Norwood, NC seeks a full-time Senior Pastor to lead staff, teach the Word, and advance the church’s mission in the community. The pastor will oversee ministries, provide vision, and partner with Deacons and lay leaders to reach up, in, and out for Christ.

Requirements include ordination, Bible College BS, and preferably an M.Div., with at least five years in multi-staff church operations. Compensation package up to $85K with benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Must meet biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
• Be an ordained minister of the Gospel
• Have Bible-based approach to ministry
• Demonstrate lifestyle reflecting commitment to Jesus Christ
• Be able to recruit and develop leaders to maturity
• Support Southern Baptist beliefs per Baptist Faith and Message (2000)

Aufgaben

• Oversee Memorial Baptist Church staff and work with Deacons and Lay Leadership
• Develop and communicate vision and strategy of ministry to fulfill MBC’s mission
• Lead and equip leaders to maturity and delegate to staff and lay leaders
• Engage in relational evangelism and community outreach
• Serve as a primary preaching and teaching pastor, expository in style
