Job summary

Community Christian Church in Williamston, NC is seeking a full-time Senior Minister to help us grow our rural church family and spread the gospel. The ideal candidate will lead Sunday services, teach Bible studies, mentor our Youth Director, and work closely with the Elders and board to advance a biblically sound ministry.

We are a family-oriented Church of Christ congregation with a 100+ attendance, a parsonage included, and a commitment to outreach and fellowship.

Qualifications

• Must belong to Church of Christ denomination.
• Preaching on Sunday mornings.
• Holiday sermons (Christmas, Easter, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Memorial Day).
• Teaching Bible Study on Wednesday nights.
• Teaching Sunday School once a month.
• Visiting the sick and shut-ins.
• Working with and mentoring our Youth Director.
• Officiate weddings and funerals.
• Attend and provide senior minister’s report at monthly board meetings.
• Work with board members.
• Work under leadership of the Elders.
• Activities for Adults.
• Leadership skills.
• Vision for growth.
• Online/technologically savvy.
• Community outreach.
• Counseling/encouragement (marital, financial, pre-marital).
• Must be biblically sound.

Community Christian Church is a family-oriented, independent Church of Christ seeking a full-time
Senior Minister to help us grow our membership and spread the gospel in our rural community.
Applicants must belong to the Church of Christ denomination.

We have a loving congregation that is 100+ on Sunday mornings, including all age ranges. We have a
vibrant adult population (ages 30-80) with a heart to serve. Our church leadership board includes a
number of young deacons who are committed to upholding our biblically sound church doctrine. We
have a youth director who is having programs and events for our youth. Our congregation loves any
occasion to get together, especially if it involves a meal. We are praying for the right Senior Minister to
join our “family” and help us grow.

• -We are in a rural/farming area
• -1.5 hours from the beach
• -30-45 minutes from larger cities (Greenville/Rocky Mount)

• -Church has a daycare of 75-80 children, ranging from newborn to 5 years old, with an
  afterschool program through 5 th grade
