The church serves a growing community with a debt-free campus and steady Sunday attendance around 200, inviting a leader to foster a missional focus and engage in missions locally and beyond.
Situated in southern West Virginia along the scenic U.S. Route 460 and Interstate 77 corridors, Princeton is a close-knit, historically rooted Appalachian community of around 5,700 residents. Located right outside of Princeton’s city limits, over 40,000 residents reside in neighboring towns and unincorporated communities such as Athens, Oakvale, Glenwood, Brushfork, etc. It’s the kind of place where community ties are strong, and you get to know your neighbors. Concord University, Bluefield State University, and Bluefield University are located approximately ten miles from the church.
IBC has served its community for almost eighty years. At its peak, Sunday morning attendance ranges from 180 to 230. Current attendance averages 200.
